why I draw
I'm obsessed with art. All I've ever wanted to do is draw. When I'm not making art, I am thinking about making art. And stories. I had the great fortune of having parents who were proud of my skills and encouraged me to draw and create worlds for my characters to live in. Serendipity and fortune smiled on me the summer after I earned my BFA-- I found the Joe Kubert School and enrolled. That's when the real learning began for me. In the next intense two years, I learned the art of graphic storytelling and honed my drawing skills. I've been telling stories and illustrating ever since. My art has taken me anywhere I can imagine-- from the burning heart of the galaxy, to the charred depths of a Sith Lords soul. I can't imagine doing anything else.
